The grandeur of Indian temples

Pattadakal is a UNESCO World Heritage site situated in Bijapur district of Karnataka.

The Chalukyan rulers were great connoisseurs of art apart from being great rulers.The temple complex in ruins in Pattadakal is a sight to behold. The carvings and the workmanship dating to 6th-8th century CE is seen to be believed.
